Mock Draft Monday: 3/9/26
Sorry for the hiatus as I've been hankering down on the big board. Top 50 will be out this week then expect a few Player breakdowns and a top 100 in the coming weeks of March.
With Free agency heating starting today and a lot of change happening in terms of Team personnel (and even picks) I felt like it was a good time to do another mock draft (I’ll also do live Free Agency Grades and reactions to every signing). Since there’s been a few trades involving 1sts I won’t do trades today (* Indicates pick could be seen getting traded)
1. Las Vegas Raiders: Fernando Mendoza, QB Indiana
No change here and with Geno getting cut this weekend it’s only been confirmed.
2. New York Jets: Reuben Bain Jr. Edge Miami (FL)
With the Jets recently trading Jermaine Johnson for NT T’vondre Sweat, it makes feels like they’re opening up a spot for the one of the top Edge Rushers. While I wouldn’t be surprised if David Bailey ends up being taken here, I don’t think he’s good enough to go this high (I think if the Jets take him it should be at 16). Bain Gives them a versatile end WIth high upside as a run stopper.
3. Arizona Cardinals: Francis Mauigoa, OL Miami (FL)*
The Cardinals are expected to take a Lineman at 3, and with them already having Paris Johnson Jr. at LT, its more likely they take one of the two top RTs (Mauigoa and Fano), and I like Mauigoa in Arizona’s widezone system and I really like him as a guard in this system although he will start out at RT which I think he should do before moving to guard (If Needed).
4. Tennessee Titans: Arvell Reese, LB/Edge Ohio State
Reese kinda fills two needs at once, as he’s a good prospect at LB and Edge, Think He probably gets more snaps at edge in tennessee than I would like for him initially play but he should be a day 1 contributor, especially in the Pass game for the Titans.
5. New York Giants: Sonny Styles, LB Ohio State*
After cutting Bobby Okereke last week, the Giants sorely need a Linebacker, and Sonny Styles fits that spot perfectly. He’s more than worth ignoring the positional value and be taken over one of the top WR Prospects.
6. Cleveland Browns: Jordyn Tyson, WR Arizona State
Cleveland has huge needs at WR and OT, and Tyson would be a great pickup for Sheduer. He’s a solid framed High level Separator That can play outside, and allow Jerry Jeudy to play inside.
7. Washington “Football Team Commanders: Avieon Terrell, CB Clemson*
Aveion Terrell has been moving up boards after a stellar combine performance, and He Fits Washington’s scheme as one of the best soft zone corners in the Draft, He’s small but has elite athleticism to make up for it.
8. New Orleans Saints: Peter Woods, IDL Clemson
New Orleans could use a run stopper in the interior and with Bryan Bresee’s 5th year option coming up next year Woods could also be a future replacement for him as well.
9. Kansas City Chiefs: Carnell Tate, WR Ohio State
After trading Trent McDuffie for the 29th Pick, they can focus on getting Patrick Mahomes a weapon, and focus on defense with later picks. Tate gives KC a much needed X receiver and is a fantastic Deep Threat to match with Mahomes and allow KC to be more aggressive again.
10. Cincinnati Bengals: Caleb Downs, S Ohio State
A reported meniscus tear will hurt his stock and while he could fall into the teens, for a team that just needs talent on defense everywhere, I don’t think you can pass up the best player in the class at 10.
11. Miami Dolphins: Jermod McCoy, CB Tennessee*
Miami is in full rebuild mode after cutting QB Tua Tagovailoa and trading S Minkah Fitzpatrick, so they can shoot the dice on McCoy, who’s coming off of a torn ACL that caused him to miss all of last season.
12. Dallas Cowboys: Mansoor Delane, CB LSU
Dallas needs Corner badly and Delane should be a scheme fit in their new system.
13. Los Angeles Rams (Via ATL): Makai Lemon, WR USC*
After trading their 29th pick for Trent McDuffie the Rams could still use a corner, but without a high level boundary corner left on the board, Lemon gives the rams a future Davantae Adams replacement that can be an instant impact in the slot.
14. Las Vegas Raiders (Via BAL): David Bailey, Edge Texas Tech
After trading away Maxx Crosby for 2 firsts, The Raiders get Crosby’s replacement at 14. I have some questions about Bailey’s translation to the NFL with his questionable bend and change of direction, but He’s a very productive pass rusher that has high upside as a pass rusher.

Perkins Jr in the 1st?
